What Earlyn is
A menu bar app for macOS 14 and later on Apple Silicon. It remembers what you see and hear on your Mac, lets you search and rewind it, transcribes meetings, and answers questions about your own history, all on the Mac. Meetings are free after a 7-day trial; screen memory is a Pro plan, monthly or yearly.
What Earlyn is not
- Not a cloud service: there is no Earlyn server that stores or processes your memory.
- Not affiliated with Rewind, Limitless, Meta, Microsoft, Apple, OpenAI or Anthropic. Their names appear on this site only to describe compatibility or alternatives.
- Not a monitoring tool for employers. It is made for one person to remember their own work.
How we write this site
- Every number comes from a measurement we made or a source we link, with the date. The research pages show the method.
- We do not publish reviews, logos or customer counts we cannot show.
- Facts about other products come from their makers or from news reports, linked and dated.
