  1. 1.2.1

Lighter on memory, and a real Mac app in the Dock

    • Much lighter: the built-in model's memory dropped from about 1.8 GB to under 600 MB, and background writing waits while you record a meeting, so 8 GB Macs stay smooth.
    • Earlyn now sits in the Dock like any other app and opens its window when you open it, while keeping its menu bar icon.
    • A clearer installer: drag Earlyn into Applications from a window that shows you where.
    • If you have Pro, setup and Settings now say so, with your renewal date and key, instead of offering the trial.
  2. 1.2.0

Free meetings, notes and templates, and the start of every call

    • Meetings stay free after the 7-day trial: recording, transcripts in any language, summaries, live translation and notes, with 7 days of history. Pro keeps the screen memory and is now also $149 a year.
    • Keep the start of meetings: while a call runs, Earlyn holds it in memory, so pressing Record late still transcribes it from the beginning. Off until you turn it on; nothing touches the disk.
    • Notes during meetings lead the summary, and summaries come in templates: general, one-on-one, sales call, standup, interview, lecture.
    • Ask questions about the meeting while it is still going, in the side panel.
    • Ask by voice, and Paste into puts an answer back into the app you were in.
    • A webhook destination for agents and answers, for Zapier, n8n and Make, optionally signed.
    • Share a meeting's summary and transcript with Mail, Messages, AirDrop or Notes; Earlyn opens recordings AirDropped to the Mac.
  3. 1.1.0

    Life, Library and live translation

    • Life: your latest day in one sentence, the hours you were captured, meetings, people, projects and your own rules for how Earlyn writes.
    • Library: the day in half-hour blocks, each written up with a title, a summary, the project and four pictures.
    • Audio: every transcript line from meetings and audio memory in one searchable list.
    • A side panel during meetings that shows the conversation as it is transcribed and translates it live, with Apple's on-device translation where installed.
    • Shorter transcription chunks, so lines appear within seconds of being spoken; the spoken language is detected over the last 30 seconds.
    • Meetings can be translated, imported from an audio or video file, and exported as PDF; calendar events show under Coming up with a Prepare button.
    • Folders you choose are indexed (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Markdown and text) and searched with your screen memory.
    • A Skills Market with 13 skills that teach Claude Code and Codex to use Earlyn.
  4. 1.0.3

    Meetings in any language

    • Meetings are transcribed by Whisper large-v3-turbo on the Mac, in any language, detected as the meeting goes; Apple's speech recognition remains the fallback.
    • A more detailed first-run setup: four permissions, each with what it is for, the three models with their sizes, and the meeting settings.
    • Earlyn shows in the Dock and ⌘-Tab while one of its windows is open.
  5. 1.0.2

    Meeting diagnostics

    • When a meeting's transcript is empty, Meetings shows what Earlyn heard on each channel, to tell a silent microphone from a missing permission.
  6. 1.0.1

    Welcome to Pro

    • A welcome window after a Pro license key is accepted, with what Pro opens and the renewal date.
  7. 1.0.0

    First release

    • Screen memory with Rewind, search and Ask, encrypted on the Mac.
    • On-device meeting transcripts and summaries.
    • Daily digests, agents, skills and a local MCP server for Claude Code and Codex.
    • Signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
