Using Earlyn

Earlyn records what is on your own screen and, when you ask, your meetings. You are responsible for using it lawfully: tell people when you record a conversation where that is required, and respect your employer's policies.

Plans and payment

• The free plan costs nothing. Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription at the price shown on the pricing page, plus any applicable tax.
• New installs include a 7-day free trial with every feature. It needs no card and ends on its own; after it, meetings stay free, and screen memory, audio memory and agents need a Pro subscription. Memories already kept stay on your Mac.
• You can cancel any time. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• A license key is personal. Please don't share or publish it.

Models and third-party software

The models Earlyn downloads at your request and the open-source software inside the app come with their own licenses, listed on the licenses page and in the app. In particular, the EmbeddingGemma model is provided under Google's Gemma Terms of Use: by downloading it you agree to those terms, including the Gemma Prohibited Use Policy, and you must pass them on if you give the model file to anyone else.

Your data

Everything Earlyn records belongs to you and stays on your Mac. We have no copy and cannot recover it for you, so keep your own backups or exports of anything important.

No warranty

Earlyn is provided as is. We work hard to make it reliable and private, but we can't promise it will capture every moment or be free of bugs. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we will say so on this page and in the release notes.
